NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SUMMER 2013

   The American Political Items Collectors announces their annual search for applicants to the APIC Mark Jacobs Smithsonian Institution Internship. The APIC sponsors the selected recipient to a 6-week internship at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. offering the opportunity to work and learn with the Curator at the National Museum's Political History Division. The winning applicant will be provided residency at the George Washington University along with a weekly stipend.

   The internship is open to graduating high school students, full-time college students, or graduate students. This is a great opportunity for anyone majoring in Political Science or U.S. Political History.  An overall good character is required. 

January 10th, 2013 is the deadline for applications for the summer 2012 internship program.
